Koufax, a dominant southpaw for the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers during the 1950s and '60s, produced four no-hitters throughout his illustrious career, culminating with his fourth and final no-hitter (and only perfect game) on September 9, 1965, against the Chicago Cubs. Ryan, no slouch himself, would go on to record a league-best seven no-hitters during his 23 years of service in the big leagues.
